RESERVING YOUR EVENT:
Reservations can be made by ringing 905-639-8624, or emailing us at
lbarnett@thetravellingtearoom.ca, and we will respond within 24 hours.
Please provide:
It is recommended at least one weeks notice to book an event and at least two weeks notice for a Themed Tea or a Children's Tea Party. We kindly ask for a 25% reservation fee on all hire invoices for events booked more than one week in advance. Events booked less than one week in advance of the event date are to be paid in full. To secure your reservation, a signed contract is required, along with the deposit, with balance due the day of the event, and paid prior to preparations. We cannot secure your reservation date unless there is a signed contract with accompanying deposit. Cancellations must be received within 72 hours of the event. A ten (10%) percent cancellation fee applies. However, within 24 hours should the event be cancelled, no refund will be provided.
PAYMENT:
Final payment is due on the day of the event, prior to preparation. We accept cash,
Visa or Mastercard.
NUMBER OF GUESTS:
Plans are base priced up to 8 persons, however, should your guest list be larger than 8, an additional per person charge will apply. The final pricing for your event is based on the number of guests confirmed at the time of the signing the contract. We will provide the appropriate quantity of food and china to accommodate the people at that time. We cannot reduce the bill if your guests send their regrets.
SEATING:
We do not provide tables or chairs, so please be sure that you have enough seating for your guests with space for the server to move around and serve tea.
LINENS AND CHINA:
The Travelling TeaRoom provides the table linen and china for all tea
plans. Should you prefer to use your own items please ensure we are advised in
advance.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Access to ovens, refrigerator, freezer, and stove is compulsory, and assurances that they are clean and in good working order is necessary.
